Michael J. Stumpf

Michael Stumpf was born and raised in Doylestown, Pennsylvania and attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Lenape and Central Bucks (before East and West). Michael was a member of the first graduating class at Bucks County Community College in 1967, where he received his Associates Degree in Liberal Arts. Following graduation, he served as a Photographer in the United States Navy for four years, spending a year in Europe as part of ship’s company on the aircraft carrier USS Forrestal.

In 1988, Mike left a successful banking career to start his own advertising agency, having provided marketing and graphic design services after banking hours to friends and associates since the mid-seventies. Michael Stumpf and Associates, Inc. now provides marketing services to almost 150 clients of all types. Their new interactive technologies division, Market-Linx International, provides web design and support services.

In 1995, Michael began extensive research into developing and fulfilling a market niche through the creation of custom made, heirloom nativities - an interest he had maintained for many years. Having found that there was no one creating that product, Michael aggressively marketed the concept. Today, Navidad Heirloom Nativities are reproduced and sold internationally through an exclusive licensing agreement with the Fontanini Division of Roman, Inc., the world’s largest producer of religious goods and nativities, with over 5,000 locations. His original custom designs, and those of his associate, Todd Parlee, are available at galleries and shops. At the same time that he signed the contract with Roman, Michael was approached by representatives of the Vatican, to design and produce the official Centennial creche for the Vatican, with research opportunities in any of the 13 Vatican Museums in Rome. Michael declined the offer.

D. Todd Parlee

Todd Parlee was born and raised in Doylestown, Pennsylvania and attended Paul W. Kutz, Lenape and Central Bucks East. Todd was a member of the 1993 graduating class of Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where he received his BA in Graphic Design and Fine Arts.

In November of 1993, Todd returned to Doylestown after being hired by Michael as an Art Director/Graphic Designer at Michael Stumpf and Associates, Inc. In the summer of 1999 Todd launched Market-Linx International which provides web design and support services to Michael Stumpf and Associates’ clients and, just the year before Michael asked Todd, with his background, to help design and construct creches to help with the demand for Navidad Heirloom Nativities.
